Sending an electronic invoice to the public administration
Current regulations demand that the service providers of the public administration send electronic invoices to invoice the products or services sold.
Different formats depending on the recipient
Electronics invoice must be created in a structured electronic format, which may differ depending on the recipient. It is a programming language that is difficult for the user to create or interpret.
For example, in Europe, Australia and New Zealand the invoice must be created and sent in UBL format with the specifications according to each country.
The public administrations will not accept invoices that are not generated in the format required by the regulations in their country.
Routing codes
Often, electronic invoices must contain specific and obligatory information to facilitate their correct processing. For European electronic invoices the Peppol identifier is obligatory. For For Spanish electronic invoices the DIR3 codes are obligatory. For French electronic invoices, the service code is obligatory.
Invoices that do not contain the routing codes cannot be registered and as a result, will not be processed or paid.
Digital signature
In some cases, electronic invoices need to be signed with a digital certificate. For example, when an electronic invoice is sent to the Spanish public administration, it has to be signed.
Invoices that are not signed cannot be registered and, as a result, are not processed or paid.
Sending method
There are different national and international networks where electronic invoices need to be sent. These depend on where the recipient is located and on the regulations of each country.
For example, to send an electronic invoice to the Spanish public administration it must be sent through different Spanish General Access Points. In France, through Chorus Pro. In Italy, through SDI, etc.
Electronic invoices sent by email or other networks not established by the receiving administration will not be accepted.
From the customer billing service of the Catalan Tourism Agency we have been pleasantly surprised by the high level of efficiency, rigor and effectiveness of B2B Router professionals, which is resulting in a highly positive collaboration, strongly recommended.

B2Brouter is a cloud-based platform, connected with national and international public administrations, which can generate and send electronic invoices in a simple and uncomplicated manner:
Simple access to electronic invoicing
Any company can comply with the obligation to issue electronic invoices, by registering for free with B2Brouter and starting the digitalisation.

Introducing the routing codes into the invoice
Creating the invoice is easy. The user simply needs to add the data to a form and select the routing codes. Via the directory, B2Brouter shows the routing codes related to the client to whom the invoice is addressed.
