Sergio Ruiz has joined B2Brouter as country manager for Spain.B2Brouter continues to grow its team. We are very proud to welcome Sergio Ruiz Mahillo, who is joining the team as Country Manager for the development of the Spanish market. As Country Manager, Sergio will reinforce our solution proposition for large companies with e-invoicing needs, whether for domestic or international traffic.

Sergio has wide experience in technological developments and, in particular, the implementation of electronic invoicing. Throughout his professional career, Sergio has developed such important projects for digitalisation in Spain as CERES (CERtificación ESpañola), the first Spanish infrastructure that provided the basis for the current e-administration of the General State Administration, Regions, and Local Administration. Furthermore, he has led other initiatives such as the @firma Platform (electronic identification and signature); and CODICE (architecture of standard electronic components and documents for electronic public procurement).

He has also participated in the authoring of the books “Administración Electrónica y Procedimiento Administrativo” and “Nuevas tecnologías en la contratación, sociedad nueva empresa e hipoteca electrónica”.

Sergio is currently collaborating with several working groups of the Peppol network, a European entity for e-procurement that is already being adopted beyond European borders, such as in Australia and New Zealand.
